Uggs are boots that have been fairly popular over the past couple of years and are projected to stay in style for a couple more. These cute boots first showed up on runways in Australia with the original sheepskin, and soon was found all over the world. You can find a lot of cheaper or less expensive versions of sheepskin footwear, or Uggs all over but few have what you really want. Ive seen great Uggs from Bearpaw boots and Brumby boots. The sheepskin is key because yes they keep your feet warm but they also suck out the moisture. If you have bought a bad imitation you know that if the moisture stays in the boots it can be very uncomfortable for you.

To keep your beautiful boots looking beautiful and new, follow these instructions for cleaning your sheepskin footwear.

1. With this idea, it is important that you use a damp cloth. If there is too much water on it, it will soak all the way through. Take a damp cloth or rag that is cold and lightly wipe down the outside of the boot.

2. Dilute a gentle cleanser that is safe for wools, such as Woolite, in cold water according to the manufacturers instructions. For Woolite, use two tablespoons detergent to two cups water.

3. Apply a small amount of cleaner to the outside with a damp sponge and rub in a circular motion to gently remove soil and stains. For harder to reach areas, use a toothbrush. Remember to be gentle to keep from damaging the material.

4. Grab your damp cloth again and gently wipe away the cleaner. Make sure that the soap doesn't build up on the cloth or you will be just moving cleaner around on you boots again. This can be avoided by continuously rinsing out the cloth.

5. Air dry outside or inside in a hot area. You can stuff newspaper in the boots for them to hold their shape as they dry.

6. Using a suede brush, softly brush your boots when they are completely dry. This is really the finishing touch to making them look brand new.

7. If you find that your shoes smell, you can use something like baking soda. Nothing more than 1-2 tablespoons should be used. Sprinkle it in your shoos and let sit overnight. This is completely take out any bad smells from your shoes.

Following these simple instructions can help keep your boots looking good for a long time to come.
